How to apply a single purpose through the convergence of multiple outputs

Some may call it multitasking, but it’s more like “overlap tasking.” In your work, see how you can apply an overarching topic to smaller projects so that you don’t have to research several different areas and overload your mind and exhaust your energy.

For example, in a regular work week I may have to: facilitate direct clinical hours of therapy, present professional development workshops, appear on television for a segment on mental health, write an article, give a talk, explore my own personal and professional growth and practice my own intentions. The more you are able to overlap the topics of these diverse tasks, the more efficient you will be and the more you will be integrating the topics internally.
